If you pay attention to press or social media, I’m sure you have heard of the brand Tower 28. I feel like it popped up out of nowhere and took over the internet! I have been eyeing this brand for months and was sent some of their products to test out. This brand is out of Santa Monica, CA, is sold in Sephora, and creates non-toxic makeup that is designed for sensitive skin. Their marketing, packaging, product selection and claims reeled me in and I am so excited to see what this brand does in the future. As of right now, they carry everything from cream blushes(HELLO), cream highlighters & bronzers, lip glosses(DOUBLE HELLO) and a setting spray!
These blushes are a cream formula and they have this beautiful luminous finish to them. They have a few shades available but featured here are the shades Magic Hour and Happy Hour. These retail for $20.
Next up is the ShineOn Lip Jelly. Something about this lipgloss in shade Magic caught my attention months ago and I have been wanting to try it ever since. It comes in multiple colors and is available for $14.
I love a good facial spray and this one is the perfect size for travel or my daily makeup bag. This product has “received the National Eczema Association’s Seal of Acceptance™ and is safe for all skin types.” It claims to sooth, purify, and repair angry, stressed out skin. I am excited to see what this does and how it works. It retails for $12.
I have to be honest, over the past few months I have completely stepped away from highlighters. I know that is so not “beauty guru” of me, but I truly don’t use them anymore. I don’t even have them at my makeup vanity. I feel like I come to the conclusion that for everyday, it’s just too much and I am very much into the “skin-like” trend. However with that being said, cream highlights seem to still do the trick. They give a glow without looking powdery or un-natural on the skin so we will see how this works. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this product and hope it works for me. It retails for $18.
Have you guys tried this brand? If so, what products, and what do you think about them? Let me know your review down below. I would love to hear from you. Overall, I am very intrigued with what this brand has to offer at the moment. I can’t wait to test out these products(stay tuned!) and I am excited to see what they come up with in the future.
The time has finally come, Persona Cosmetics has released blushes!! If you know me, you already know my love for blush and my love for this brand so once I found out that the two were coming together, I was pretty excited to say the least!
I wanted to share my thoughts on these immediately since they released today. I have been using the blushes for about the past week as I was sent them early in PR by Persona Cosmetics to test out. I have to say that these SuperBlushes do not disappoint.
Persona Cosmetics released two colors, Georgia and Carmel. Georgia is a beautiful peach warm toned blush while Carmel is a mauve pink cooler toned blush. I love that they started with these two shades because they are personally the ones I use the most.
The SuperBlush formula is amazing. These are pigmented blushes that can pack a punch of color on the cheeks but my favorite thing about them is that they are a matte blush with dimension. These don’t have any glitter or sparkle to them but the natural finish of the blush is a little luminous. Nothing crazy intense but just the right amount. I find that these are very long lasting, comparable to the Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes which I believe to be one of the longest wearing blushes on the market.
Here I am wearing the shade Georgia on my cheeks.
Here I am wearing the shade Carmel on my cheeks.
These blushes retail for $22 and are available on PersonaCosmetics.co & will be available soon at UltaBeauty.com. If you decide to purchase from PersonaCosmetics.co I do have an affiliate code that will save you 10% off of your purchase(exclusions may apply). You can use the code “Nicole10” at checkout. You can also purchase these in a bundle for only $39.
Thank you to the Persona Cosmetics Team for sending these blushes my way.

The annual Fall VIB sale is here at Sephora! Today I am sharing with y’all all the details you need to know about the sale, as well as my recommendations! I broke it up into skincare, holiday sets(these are bomb af this year), and then makeup. I also did film a YouTube video showcasing some of the products in action for you. I really hope all this information is helpful!

Charlotte Tilbury Magic Eye Rescue Cream: my nighttime eye cream. It is super thick and leaves my under-eyes looking so plump and hydrated in the morning. This also makes my concealer (any concealer) look bomb. I can always tell that my under eyes look worse when I don’t use this product. I try to use it every-night but sometimes I do forget tbh.
Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream: My daily moisturizer and prep before I put on makeup. If you have dry skin, I would HIGHLY recommend this. Plus, Kim K uses it so like you know it’s good lol
Dermalogica Clearing Defense SPF 30: This is the only sunscreen I like. Don’t judge me, I know how important sunscreen is but I use to NEVER wear it. I know I know. But I hate the texture of almost all sunscreens and this is the only one that doesn’t have that greasy, sticky, gooey texture. It says matte but it’s not like a matte foundation where it dries down and sucks up all the oil, it just feels like a lotion.
Ole Henriksen C Rush Brightening Gel Creme: love this for a daily moisturizer when I am not wearing makeup. I use it as well for makeup base prep. It smells delicious and is a great moisturizer. I would say this would work for both dry & oily skin.
Dermalogica Pre-Cleanse Balm: A MUST HAVE. Forget your wipes and switch to this cleanser, it is so bomb. It removes every single ounce of makeup. I use this every single day.
Dermalogica Special Cleaning Gel: This is my daily cleanser, I use nothing else. It is worth every single penny and has drastically helped with the overall look and feel of my skin. Morning and night, I look forward to using this every day!
Kate Somerville Anti-Bac Clearing Lotion: If you suffer from acne, I would recommend trying this. It is a benzoyl peroxide product which basically kills all bacteria so pimples/acne can’t form. I use this every other night as needed.
Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant Exfoliator: This is a great physical exfoliant that does not destroy the skin. It is very gentle and really does help get rid of all the dead skin and bacteria. I LOVE this product. Use it about 1-2x per week.
The gift sets this year are SO impressive. Usually I skip over them, but I feel like this year you can get a lot of full size products, save money and get limited edition products, I love it!
I think gift sets / holiday kits in general are a great gift to give or receive. Just a tip – if you have a few friends or maybe you are playing Secret Santa this year, buy 2-3 of these sets and split them up! It can save you money and you can get your friends a few products to try, rather than just one.
Bite Beauty All Agave 3-Piece Lip Care Set: I already bought two of these for one set to live in my purse, the other on my nightstand. Since being in dry weather, my lips have been struggling and have been painfully chapped. The lip mask that comes in this set is incredible and makes my lips so hydrated / healed.
Too Faced Born This Way Foundation (Light Beige): I’ve used this foundation for years but just recently fell back in love with you. It is very lightweight on the skin and provides a medium to full coverage finish. I would recommend this for anyone of all skin types.
Natasha Denona Biba Eyeshadow Palette: My all time favorite eyeshadow palette. I seriously love this palette so much and for any brides out there, this would be PERFECT for you. Honestly, if I was getting married today, I would use this as my palette. 100%.
If you want to know what eyeshadow palettes I am loving for fall and would recommend, read this post here. I also do have my favorites page which I update frequently on my favorite makeup products in general. You can read that here. There are many products listed in that post that are available at Sephora and you could save some cash on through this sale. Below I’ve listed my past few Sephora VIB sale recommendation videos. I still would recommend all of these products mentioned, but I am seasonal with my makeup and am always finding new products I love! Anyways, I hope this was helpful! xoxo

Patrick Ta Major Glow On the Go: This gloss is what really has my attention! I personally am not big into body oils as we all know but if you are, this seems like a great set!
Bite Agave 3 Piece Holiday Gift Set: I would HIGHLY recommend this! My lips have been so chapped this week due to all the smoke in air and the ONLY thing that makes them feel better is the mask. These are mini sizes but for the price, this is worth having! I’m going to buy this so I can keep a set in my purse!
Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look in a Face & Eye Palette: I thought this was really pretty and great for all of us who don’t have 100 hours to do our makeup and generally wear neutral colors. You will notice I included a lot of CT in this guide but I think her products are generally worth it and if you can get a discount with the VIB sale or snag one of her gift sets, I would!
Tarte Cosmetics 9 Ways to Shine Cheek Wardrobe: Tarte for years has released holiday blush sets and every year I recommend them because I think they are such a bang for your buck! Their formula is very long lasting on the skin and they have so many colors! I thought this set specifically would be great to pass out for secret Santa or gift to a few different people in your life!
Hourglass Scattered Lights Holiday Gift Set Trio: The scattered lights formula is one of my favorites for individual shadows and I thought these colors were so fall/winter appropriate! It is on the pricey side but get it during the VIB sale to save some money!
I will be uploading a Sephora VIB Recommendations sale video on Friday, November 1st. Rouge members have access first so stay tuned for that video if you would like even more recommendations for products I love!
It’s no secret I am obsessed with fall makeup this year. I am loving the jewel toned trend and early 2000’s dark grey smoky eyes! It’s a breath of fresh air from the usual bright orange and gold cut creases(no shade if that’s your vibe). Recently on my YouTube Channel I filmed a video talking all about my favorite palettes for fall but some of them are already sold out and no longer available so I wanted to create an updated version on palettes that are still available and some new finds that I am loving!
As you know, I LOVE my cool toned shadows so this list is featuring some of my favorite eyeshadow products that are cooler toned. Hopefully as cooler tones become more recognized in the industry, I will be able to add more and more but for now, this is it!
