At the beginning of March I had the idea that I was going to do a blog post at the end of the month, recapping all of the outfits I wore for work, weekends, errands, etc. Well… who knew just a week later, we would all be in quarantine due to the Coronavirus! I must say, I have really been feeling the gravity of this situation we are all currently in and it has been hard for me to focus on anything else. However, with that being said, I am trying to get my mind off of everything and so here we are. I decided to do this post anyways even though I only had a few days out of the house in March. Once life gets back to normal, I will continue with this as a monthly series but for now, I am living in my pajamas! I hope y’all are staying safe, healthy and finding ways to cope with this situation. xoxo
Y’all know I love jewelry of all sorts but I wanted to share pieces and brands I love that sell beautiful quality jewelry at more of an affordable price. Whether these are for yourself or for a gift, I guarantee you will love them. I do also have this gift guide of some of my most worn and daily jewelry pieces if you are interested in reading!
I wore this outfit this past weekend when my boyfriend and I went out to brunch. It was such a beautiful day in the city that I didn’t need to bundle up! I recently hauled this sweater dress in my YouTube video but wanted to share my favorite way to wear it at the moment. I feel like this is a great transitional and versatile dress that I can wear for fall, winter and even leading into spring weather! It is lightweight, breathable and super soft! I’m crazy picky about textures so when I say it is soft, it is SOFT! I paired it with my favorite white sneakers, denim jacket, a few accessories and I was good to go for a casual brunch date!
Work bags can be randomly so expensive so this is a guide to work bags I would recommend that are under $100. I think these would make a great holiday gift for anyone in your life or a great addition to anyone starting a new job. A lot of these are also even under $50 for those who are really on a budget or simply just not wanting to spend a lot on a bag.
So last year this jacket was all over my LTK feed and my Instagram. I could not find it for the life of me and ONE YEAR LATER found it at my local Nordstrom! I could not believe it. With living in San Francisco, jackets have become one of my most used and valuable pieces within my collection and this has quickly become one of my favorites within my wardrobe. It comes in a few different colors and I love the fit of it. I am wearing a size small and it works with light weight sweaters and long sleeves. It is naturally oversized and provides a lot of warmth, also works if you live in a windy city! I’ve had many compliments on it and I’m so happy I finally found it!
It’s no surprise I am a shoe lover. I have way too many pairs and my collection will forever be slowly growing. Fall time is my favorite part of the year for shoes because I love boots. They are my favorite thing to wear and collect so I have quite a few recommendations for y’all. If you are in the market for new boots, I would suggest one pair of black leather boots, one pair of brown leather or suede (personal preference) and then one statement pair. I think those are the necessities that everyone should have within their wardrobe! Today I tailored this post to more affordable options so all of the ones I am recommending are under $100.
